"Rock tea" or "Cliff tea", is one of the most stunning Oolong subtypes. Owing to the unique terroir, it is regarded as the "Champagne" of the Oolong tea. It also involves sophisticated tea processing skills and the tea maker's understanding of the ultimate balance of aroma and taste. The most famous Rock tea , "Da Hong Pao", will be shared with the participants during this workshop.

Oolong tea from the Southern Fujian Province is famous for its mild delicacy taste. The typical one is "Tie Guan Yin" or "Iron Goddess". Another popular one is the Narcissus (a type of flower) from the Zhangping county (ZP). During this workshop, you will have the opportunity to taste the tea samples we carefully selected, and share your experience with other tea lovers!

Many tea lovers have heard of Oolong Tea, but not many of them have ever heard of the sub-category - "Guangdong style Oolong".

As a neighbor of Fujiang Province (the main Oolong tea producing region), Guangdong Province has preserved its own Oolong tea cultural as well as its most famous tea - "Phoenix Dan Cong". In fact, the "Gong Fu" tea style is originated from the Guangdong tea appreciation style. Due to the limited production of the "Phoenix Dan Cong", it becomes the "lily in the hidden valley". Many tea lovers believe that Taiwan Oolong distinct from the other three Oolong sub-categories by its milky aroma. In fact, the Oolong that specifically associates with Taiwan is the "Oriental beauty". It was named by Queen Elizabeth II in the 1960s after she tried it for the first time. As the origin of this cultivar, the "Oriental beauty" has been considered as the "unique taste of Taiwan". During this workshop, you will taste it and share with the other participants of your experience and understanding.
